There are lots of reasons to celebrate these women – they’re Big 10 Champions, nationally-ranked, and Jacy Sheldon is a Dublin Coffman grad – but here’s another. Our friends at Gracehaven shared this on social media today: “Community champs like YOU sometimes help us deliver memorable outings to our group home youth. Thank you! Recently, the Gracehaven residents got to attend an Ohio State University Women’s Basketball game and cheer on these Big 10 Champions! “I’ve never seen them so excited!” said one of their Youth Direct Care Specialists. “My hope was to show them positive role models and encourage physical activity which is so important for their mental health.” Since this field trip, the youth have been learning to play basketball and practicing at a local gym.
